FALL/WINTER MAKEUP TRENDS:

hey guys! Fall is my favorite season. The way the trees turn into beautiful shades of oxblood and burnt sienna while the weather turns crisp and cool is just so breathtaking. Along with the change of seasons, the fashion and beauty trends shift gears too. While summer was all about color pops of neon, and adventurous makeup trends, this fall, the trends have gone more classic, intense winged eyeliner, bold lips, and natural, flushed cheeks. I've taken my spin on it, and I hope y'all enjoy :)

1. BOLD BROWS
I know, I didn't really do a bold brow :) But, going just the little extra mile for a more defined brow is in this season, and I have been loving it. For my brows, I fill them in with an angled brush using my Revlon 16hr Eyeshadow Quad in Addictive. I love this because it literally works for every single brow color, so it works on others too :)

2. INTENSE WINGED EYELINER
This is by far one of my favorite trends this fall There is something so classic about this look that I absolutely love. For a really precise wing, I use my Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner in Nior. The applicator is super long, which makes it super easy to apply. Also, the line is VERY black :)

3. BOLD LIPS
This fall, bold lips are a huge hit. I think the key is to pick a shade that complements your skin tone, and doesn't wash you out. That's why, if available swatch a bold lip color before you buy it. For me, I prefer my statement lip colors in stains or longwear forms, because they are easier to apply, last a long time, and there is no fuss with lip liner or any of that jazz. The shade I'm wearing right now is I believe a Sally Hansen Satin Lip Crayon in Risque. My mother gave it to me a while back, and the shade is sharpened off, but I love it dearly :)

4. ROSY CHEEKS
A lesser, but still lovely trend is rosy, just-came-back-from-frolicking-in-the-snow cheeks :) I have been using this nearly everyday when I am not using my MAC Mineralized Blush in Warm Soul {life-changing}. For this particular trend, I recommend a gel, cream, or liquid blush, because these create the most natural, dewy finish. I love theBalm's Stainiac Cheek & Lip Stain in Beauty Queen, because its super easy to apply in a pinch, and gives a beautiful natural rosiness.

Well I hope you guys enjoyed my take on this seasons makeup trends :) bye!

love,
onion
